I'm sure you're wondering what's new with me since December. Let's recap the last you knew I was finishing my Internship at the Utah House and I didn't have another job lined up . I hadn't decided yet if I was going to go back and give them another year or if I was going to move on to something new.
Here's the update since then. I decided not to go back to the Utah House. I wanted to start a career and I needed a job that paid me something that I could pay my bills on. I went through December and most of January without a job which was super difficult. I then got a nanny position that paid some of the bills. It was good for the few weeks that I worked. It was twice a week and I only had one little girl that I had to keep track of. I still needed something more. The family decided that they needed to save money and wanted to spend more time together so I was out of work again by the middle of February. At that point I didn't know what to do. I wasn't about to give up but I didn't know where to start either. I had been looking for work for three months now and I had no offers that I felt good about. I was running out of options and had turned to applying almost anywhere.
With March now coming to a close I have good news. I have found a job and I am loving it. I finally decided to follow the promptings I was given. It's been a lot of work for the passed few weeks and I have a lot of stuff still to learn but I'm looking forward to a long and happy career.
